Time flies and it’s already our final week. In three days MIP-2019 will be over. But while we are sad that the end is coming near, we don’t have much time to think about it.

This week we have a lot of tasks to complete. As well as our usual weekly tasks, this week we have to finish our final reports and evaluations.

With so many things to do, this was an important week to learn more about time management. How to prioritise the most important and urgent things, and how to allocate tasks amongst our team to make our work more successful.

This week Williem is focussing on his research plan, Rika and Sihar are focussing on storyboarding our final week video, and I am preparing a presentation about my MIP experiences to deliver to my fellow students at Sriwijaya University.

The most important thing to remember is not to feel worried when we have so many important deadlines. Instead there are 10 simple steps that can help, including making time for other things and asking for help. We need support and feedback from other people if we are to improve.

Another great thing we learned is the book “Getting Things Done” by David Allan. This is a really great system for managing time and to do lists, and I really recommend you read it.

We need have good time management if we want to balance our life. Otherwise we will always be focusing on work.
