We’re pleased announced the successful applicants who will join the 2015 MantaWatch Internship Program.
This year’s MantaWatch interns will join our team in West Manggarai and Komodo from September 07 to October 03, where they will work to promote collaboration between local stakeholders – including government, communities and the marine tourism industry – for marine conservation. Each intern will each receive a Guy Joseph MantaWatch Award, which provides a fully-funded scholarship to the program.

My interest in marine life had begun a young age. When I was five year’s old I remember being amazed as I watched a diver swimming through a coral reef on TV. Now I’m studying marine biology at the University of Indonesia. I can’t wait to learn about manta ray migrations, behaviour and ecology, and to see them in their natural environment. I’m so happy o be selected for the MantaWatch Internship Program.
