Danastri

Danastri

Halo! My Name is Danastri currently studying International Relations in Parahyangan Catholic University.

Indonesia is consisted of islands that beautiful and has many potentials under the sea. However, there are still many people who do not use it well, including us. We often forgot to behave well when doing activities at sea. When catching fishes, there are still many people who use chemicals materials and while diving sometimes we forget to follow diving ethics. Even there is people who catches protected marine biota illegally, such as Manta.

Mantas are often hunted for their benefits. With a reduced number of manta in the sea, effecting the life cycle in the ocean become dangerous. As an Indonesian who lived in the Archipelago and surrounded by sea, it has become our job to concern about this issue.

Considering the program requires young people who have a passion to conserve manta, I believe I have something what it takes.
