Something is making me feel confused! Why is the timing going so quickly? Today is already the 16th day of our internship. So much has happened, and our team work is getting better and better!

Today our team divided into two group. Haries, Divo, and Gerald went out with Divine Diving to survey Batu Bolong, Sebayur Kecil and of course Karang Makassar. Meanwhile Muti, Luci, Andy, Dita, and Niomi joined Blue Marlin Dive to survey Tatawa Besar and Karang Makassar.

Both teams gave briefings to the guests, and told them all about manta rays and how to dive with them responsibly. Our audience today came from all around the world: Portugal, Brazil, France, Netherlands and Germany! They all listed to our briefings and asked team enthusiastic questions.

My team did not find any mantas today. The tide was changing when we reached Karang Makassar and, with very little current, the mantas had moved somewhere else. After the dive we climbed back into the boat and Andy suggested that we have a look at the north end of Karang Makassar. And do you know what? Sure enough there were mantas gliding in the shallow waters.

I did have another amazing experience today. Our dive at Tatawa Besar was a drift dive, and the current was pushing us along so quickly. Past all the schools of fish, I felt like I was in a fairground ride.
